  • “Biology” in the telematic three-year degree course in “Psychological Sciences and Techniques”, Unitelma/Sapienza University
  • module of “Applied Biology” of the integrated course of “Molecular and cellular basis of life”, three-year degree course in Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Sapienza University.
  • “Genetics” in the School of Specialization in Clinical Psychology, Sapienza University.

He his involved in the PhD Program in Behavioral Neuroscience, curriculum of Psychobiology and Psychopharmacology.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Arturo Bevilacqua’s scientific activity is aimed at studying the following issues:

1) Dependence of neuronal plasticity and learning abilities of the adult mammal on cellular processes regulated by ligand-receptors and their transcriptional/translation control;

2) association of allelic polymorphisms for genes of neurotransmitter and hormonal systems to obsessive-compulsive disorder, perfectionism, transsexualism, schizophrenia;

3) regulatory mechanisms of mammalian oogenesis and preimplantation development;

4) cellular mechanisms of ovarian dysfunction in preclinical animal models;

5) association of epigenetic processes to psychopathology.
