The Department of Dynamic and Clinical Psychology 42 of the "Sapienza" University 'of Rome was established by D.R. 22 / October 2001 and activated with D.R. 11 / March 2002. And 'it born out of a number of professors and researchers of the subject areas of "Dynamic Psychology" (M-PSI / 07) and "Clinical Psychology" (M-PSI / 08), the first relating to the two original departments of "Psychology of Development and Socialization processes" (38) and "Psychology" (39), to set up a new organization for research and national and international exchanges with other universities' or with non-university institutions (health, education, etc.) involved in research in these two disciplines. With the activation of the Department, to the teachers of the two scientific areas mentioned, they were joined by teachers, belonging to the sectors of General Psychology, the Methodology of Psychological Research, Developmental Psychology and Social Psychology. 11 / March 2002 to 31 / October 2005, the Department was headed by prof. Marco Cecchini and Alessandra De Coro Prof.sa from 1 / Nov / 2005 to 31 / Oct / 2011. Currently the Department is directed by Renata Prof.sa Tambelli and Administrative Secretary is Dr. Pia Giammario. In recent years, there have been numerous research projects proposed and carried forward by the teachers of this Department - funded by external bodies at the University, through collaboration agreements with the European Union, the Ministry of Health, the Lazio Region, the 'National Institute of Health, and other public institutions, as well as the research activities funded by the bodies prepared for them, such as the Ministry of University and research, the National research Council, the University "La Sapienza." With the Council resolution of 12 July 2006, the Department has given a Regulation, along the lines of "model rules" approved by the University Senate on 07.06.2000, indicating the scientific areas in which teachers and researchers incardinated in Department heads: M-PSI / 01 General Psychology, M-PSI / 03 Psychometrics, M-PSI / 04 Developmental Psychology and Educational Psychology, M-PSI / 05 Social Psychology M-PSI / 07 Dynamic Psychology, M- PSI / 08 Clinical Psychology.
